Chicken Manchow Soup Recipe | Indo Chinese Recipes | Restaurant Style Soup Recipe by Varun Inamdar

Learn How To Cook Chicken Manchow Soup Recipe, an Indo-Chinese Soup Recipe by Chef Varun Inamdar. Make this delicious Indo-Chinese restaurant style soup recipe in a simple, quick and easy method, that also serves as a great appetiser, at your home and share your experience with us in the comments below. Ingredients:- 200 gm boneless chicken breast chopped 2 tbsp oil 3 tbsp ginger-green chilly crushed 10- 15 cloves of chopped garlic 1/4 cup chopped assorted bell peppers 1/3 cup carrots, chopped 1/3 cup green cabbage, chopped 2 tbsp light soy sauce Salt and pepper as required 3 cups water for chicken stock 2 tbsp corn flour 1 egg  3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves 1/2 chicken stock cube optional 1/2 cup fried noodles Method:- In a pot of cold water add in chicken breast, carrots, garlic, salt, chicken stock cube and cook for 12-15 minutes. Once cooked, skim the impurities risen on the top and blanch the noodles in the stock and partially boil them. Shallow fry the noodles in the oil until crisp and keep aside. In the same oil add ginger-green chilli crush, garlic, chopped vegetables and stir fry them. Then add the chicken stock, soy sauce, salt, pepper and boil on high flame. Shred the chicken breast and add it to the boiling soup. Beat an egg and add it to the soup followed by corn flour slurry as a thickener. Finally, add coriander leaves and delicious hot Chicken Manchow Soup is ready to serve! HAPPY COOKING!!! VEGETABLE MANCHOW SOUP Ingredients 8-10 button mushrooms, roughly chopped 1 medium carrot, finely chopped 1 tablespoon finely chopped green capsicum ½ cup chopped cabbage 1 tablespoon oil 1 tablespoon chopped ginger 2 green chillies, finely chopped 1 tablespoon chopped garlic 2 cups vegetable stock 1½ tablespoons dark soy sauce Salt to taste Black pepper powder to taste 1 tablespoon cornflour 1 tablespoon diagonally sliced spring onion greens 1¼ teaspoons vinegar 1 egg Fried noodles for garnishing Method 1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add ginger, green chillies and garlic, mix and sauté till fragrant. 2. Add mushrooms, carrots, capsicum and cabbage, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes. 3. Add vegetable stock, ½ cup water and soy sauce and stir to mix. Add salt and pepper powder, mix well and bring to a boil. 4. Add some water to the cornflour and mix well. Add this to the soup, mix well and cook till it thickens. 5. Add spring onion greens and 1 teaspoon vinegar and mix well. 6. Break egg in a bowl. Add remaining vinegar, whisk well, add to the soup and stir to scramble. 7. Garnish with fried noodles and serve piping hot.
